Fixa Assistans is a family-oriented assistance company with extensive experience in personal assistance for both children and adults. Our headquarters are located in Karlshamn, and we operate throughout southern Sweden. We are now looking for a personal assistant for a 7-year-old girl in Hörvik. The position is a maternity leave substitute with an immediate start. You will work concentrated shifts of 12 hours over 7 days every other week (uneven calendar weeks). Day and night shifts are worked with double staffing. You will work in the girl's home with the family.

We primarily seek candidates who are enrolled nurses, childcare workers, or have experience working with disabilities. We also place great importance on personal chemistry and personality traits, so do not hesitate to apply even if you do not have the aforementioned education or experience.

As a person, you must be responsible, attentive, thorough, easy-going, able to open up to others, and above all, have good patience. You must be calm, secure, and retain a childlike spirit. As a personal assistant in the family, you must be family-oriented and approachable, as there are siblings in the family. The family also has pets. The work involves helping the girl with everything in her daily life, meaning full care with significant responsibility, but also lots of play and fun. You must be completely smoke-free.

The nature of the work requires you to be fluent in speaking and understanding Swedish, for example, being able to understand and read various instruction and checklist documents, as well as follow established routines.

A driver's license is required as there is a minibus that you, as an assistant, will drive.
