If so, we have a position for you – together we create opportunities for the Air Defense Regiment and the Swedish Armed Forces to conduct operations on our training and firing ranges in Halmstad.

Job Responsibilities:

The work will largely consist of responsibility for and management of the vehicles and machinery used for maintenance on our training facilities, such as shooting ranges, firing positions, and green areas. The role includes ensuring that equipment and areas maintain a high standard so that our soldiers and officers have good conditions to perform their duties. You will also be involved in safety work during shooting exercises, maintaining fire readiness, and participating in fire fighting. You will have the opportunity to influence your daily work by being either project manager or co-responsible for various development areas.

Requirements

• Completed upper secondary education (high school diploma)
• Category B driver's license

Meritorious Qualifications

• Trade/vocational background
• Good knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces, e.g., through completed conscription
• Chainsaw and brush cutter training
• Category C driver's license

The role has a significant and direct impact on the Air Defense Regiment's ability to conduct training. Other Information:

This is a permanent civil service position starting with a 6-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. Salary and benefits according to collective agreement. The minimum placement salary for this position is 30,350 SEK. Place of work is Halmstad.

The position is located at the Air Defense Regiment Lv 6 in Halmstad, on the Training and Firing Ranges Department, and includes some evening and weekend duties.

Information about the Swedish Armed Forces and the recruiting unit:

The Air Defense operates on land and is part of the Army, but often collaborates with the Air Force. The Air Defense monitors airspace with mobile sensors (such as radar), detects threats, and protects important objects and operations from aerial attacks by engaging with missiles. The two air defense battalions included in the operational defense are trained and kept ready by the Air Defense Regiment. Our employees participate in missions both at home and around the world.
