Job Responsibilities

Your role as a music teacher includes planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work. You should also find strategies to reach each individual student and strengthen their knowledge development. Together with other colleagues, you should keep the school's value base and view of knowledge in focus. Active value-based work is a matter of course for you. You have drive and contribute to the school's quality work.

You will teach students from Saxemaraskolan grades 3-6 as well as students at Hobyskolan grades 3-6. The teaching takes place at Hobyskolan. The position is 60%.

In your role, you are involved in creating a secure foundation for our students. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate students to develop their abilities and create opportunities for learning. You should be well acquainted with the school's governing documents and familiar with its documentation requirements.

Qualifications

You must have a teaching license. Other persons who hold pedagogical education that the employer deems equivalent may be considered, but then for a fixed-term appointment.

You should be someone who easily creates good relationships with the students, for whom you will be fully responsible for the music education.

You should be able to express yourself well orally and in writing. You should be able to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, students, guardians, and other professionals you encounter in your profession. You should have basic knowledge of Office 365 as well as relevant systems for the position.

We consider it meritorious if you have worked as a music teacher previously and if you master various instruments.

Terms of Employment

  • Salary form: Monthly salary.
  • Employment type: Permanent position.
  • Duration: Permanent.
