About the Position

Karlsängskolan is a 7-9 school located in central Nora, where the vast majority of the municipality's junior high school students choose to study. We have a stable and competent staff with high qualifications, characterized by flexibility and commitment. We are organized into work teams and work according to language- and knowledge-developing methods.

Responsibilities

• You plan, conduct, and evaluate your teaching in the subjects and groups you are responsible for, in collaboration with experienced colleagues in your subjects.
• You use methods and approaches that lead to the best possible goal fulfillment.
• You create an environment for learning and support students' social development.
• You work and document in the operational systems and keep up to date with the research status within your field of operation.

Qualifications

Previous work experience in teaching within the specified subject is considered an advantage.

As a person, you are secure and stable and find it easy to connect with students and guardians. As a teacher, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and contribute to a calm and secure school environment. A prerequisite for success in the role is that you have knowledge of child development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and prerequisites. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
