We are looking for an engaged employee for Lindboskolan in Hallstahammar

Lindboskolan is one of three F-6 schools in the urban area of Hallstahammar. The school, housed in renovated facilities, has just over 450 students distributed across three parallel groups. We are approximately 60–65 employees working together to provide our students with the best possible schooling. For us, quality in operations and collaboration with homes are crucial to supporting students on their knowledge journey through life. The staff always keeps the students' best interests in mind, both in planning and implementing activities.

The school has a high level of teacher qualifications and a well-developed student health team consisting of three special needs teachers/special educators, a counselor, a school nurse, and a school psychologist. Here, all students are seen thanks to good cooperation within the school as well as with guardians and external actors.

Our goal is for Lindboskolan to be a safe and inspiring place where knowledge is at the center and every student is given the opportunity to develop, succeed, and become their best self based on their prerequisites.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who want to contribute to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to succeed and develop. For the upcoming school year, we are seeking an engaged employee who wants to work within the primary school operations.

About the Position

As part of the school's safety team, you work closely with students throughout the school day and support them in various situations. Together with the school counselor, you plan and implement promoting and preventive measures that strengthen students' social development and well-being.

You collaborate with the school's various professions, the student health team, and school leadership to create the best possible conditions for students' learning and development. You actively contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment.

The position also includes work at the morning daycare and responsibility for supporting students' social development within the school's coordinated support measures. Our schoolyard and outdoor environment offer good opportunities for movement, play, and activity.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and take responsibility for a group, while also enjoying teamwork towards common goals.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • Have experience working with children and young people, preferably within a school setting.
  • Have education as a social pedagogue, social worker, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent education.
  • Are confident in your leadership and create structure and clarity in interactions with students.
  • Easily build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to a good work environment by following the school's routines and structures.
  • Are creative, proactive, and able to adapt activities based on students' needs and interests.
  • Work systematically and plan and organize your work in an effective manner.

Employment Terms

This position is a fixed-term employment with the possibility of extension. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Ends 2027-06-11.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) must be presented before employment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. The positions are filled based on required decisions.
