Teacher for Coordinated Support in Grades 1-2 at Lindboskolan

Lindboskolan is one of three F-6 schools in the urban area of Hallstahammar. The school, housed in renovated facilities, has just over 450 students distributed across three parallel classes. We are approximately 60–65 employees working together to provide our students with the best possible schooling. For us, quality in operations and collaboration with homes are vital to supporting students on their knowledge journey through life. The staff always keeps the students' best interests in mind in both planning and implementing activities.

The school has a high level of teacher qualifications and a well-developed student health team consisting of three special education teachers/special pedagogues, a counselor, a school nurse, and a school psychologist. Here, all students are seen thanks to good cooperation within the school as well as with guardians and external actors.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in our coordinated support for grades 1–2, you will work closely with class teachers, special education teachers, and resource personnel to create the best conditions for students' development and learning.

In the coordinated support, you will meet students who, for various reasons, need extra support, both academically and socially. The activity is flexible and shaped according to each student's needs. Some students spend most of the school day in coordinated support, while others participate during certain lessons or periods of the day.

In this role, you will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching and support measures in close collaboration with the school's other professionals. Together, you will contribute to creating a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to succeed based on their prerequisites.

You will become an important part of the school's work to promote both knowledge development, well-being, and security for our students.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have teacher certification and the qualification to teach at the lower primary level (grades 1-3).

We value that you are responsible, engaged, and solution-oriented. You are flexible in your working methods and see collaboration as a natural part of the assignment. At the same time, you have the ability to work independently and take initiative when the situation requires it.

About the Employment

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. An extract from the criminal record must be presented before employment. The positions will be filled based on necessary decisions.
