Rehab South is a performance unit within SLSO (Stockholm County Council) and has a contract to provide primary care rehabilitation at four units: Högdalen Rehab, Farsta Rehab, Södermalm Rehab, and Dalen Rehab, with an additional assignment for the Neuroteam. We employ occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and administrative staff, totaling approximately 130 employees.
At Högdalen Rehab, 16 people work, of whom 4 are occupational therapists. We are a lovely team with broad competence who are happy to share knowledge and experience, help each other when needed, and have a good sense of humor. Your work will be characterized by a patient focus, joy in work, and the attitude that all people are of equal value.
Responsibilities:
As an occupational therapist in primary care, you will meet patients of all ages with a wide variety of diagnoses, functional and activity limitations, and from different cultures. You are welcome to have experience with and curiosity about the breadth of the primary care assignment.
The current assignment is divided between hand clinic and home rehabilitation, either in a team with a physiotherapist or independently. The tasks include, among other things, activity and function assessment, training, advice and support on self-care, prescription of aids, and assessment and adaptation of housing and the surrounding environment. At the hand clinic, you will see patients with osteoarthritis, contractures, fractures, overuse injuries, or other hand-related injuries and diagnoses.

You feel confident in your role as an occupational therapist and have a good ability to prioritize your work. You have a holistic view and see resources where others see obstacles. When working in the patient's home, you must be comfortable being in environments with pets and not be sensitive to smoke smells.

Qualifications:
Licensed occupational therapist with a bachelor's degree.
We prefer that you have education and experience in hand rehabilitation.
Experience and interest in work with memory investigations, structure and activity balance, as well as activity and function assessments are meritorious.
A B-class driver's license is a requirement.
Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 are a requirement.

Employment type:
Permanent, full-time 40 hours/week with flexible working hours. Start date by agreement. Probationary period may be applied. Interviews are conducted continuously during the application period, and the position may be filled before the last application date.

- in addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement applies to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
