Doktor24 is looking for doctors for digital primary care – flexible work and fully remote

Who we are looking for

We believe that you, as an applicant, have a genuine interest in primary care and possess strong collaboration skills. As a doctor, you are innovative in your approach to work and treat patients with high quality. You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, with excellent linguistic proficiency and communication skills, as the work involves extensive verbal communication and written dialogue via chat.

You hold a Swedish medical license and have at least two years of documented experience working in Swedish primary care after completing your BT/AT (basic/specialist training) service. You likely currently hold another position within primary care that you wish to combine flexibly with digital work with us.

About the setup and the role:

We are looking for you to work as a consultant through your own company. You wish to work clinically digitally for at least 30 hours per month, preferably more. Since we are open 24/7, seven days a week, there are good opportunities to adapt your working hours. During the introduction and startup phase, it is desirable to be available on weekdays during daytime, as supervisors and support functions are on-site. Needs exist subsequently during daytime, evenings, and weekends, and in the long term, night shifts may become relevant if of interest. The desired start date is as soon as possible, but it usually takes about 3 weeks to get equipment and permissions in place before the introduction and startup of the role. It is important that you can then work at least 30 hours per month (preferably more) and in direct connection with the introduction, which hopefully can take place in late July or early August. Our ambition is to create a long-term collaboration, with a continuous need that extends beyond the summer. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a specific degree of employment; you must apply for shifts based on the operation's needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed doctor with at least two years of work experience from Swedish primary care, after completing BT/AT service.
• ST-doctor (Specialist Trainee) or specialist doctor in general medicine is an advantage.
• You have good computer skills and are comfortable using digital tools.
• You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You are available and wish to work clinically digitally for at least 30 hours per month, preferably more.
• Good availability during the summer months of July–August.
• You are empathetic, responsive, and clear in your interaction with patients.
• You want to be involved in the development of digital healthcare.

Support from competent colleagues, treatment guidelines, and technical platforms

With the help of an AI bot, all patients are triaged before they are either recommended self-care, referred to physical care, or get to see you as a doctor via a digital meeting. In your clinical work, you will assess patients digitally via chat, phone, or video. You have competent colleagues on duty that you can consult if needed. You also receive support from our comprehensive treatment guidelines, which guide you in your work with digital care. You will also receive regular follow-up, statistics, and support from your Staff Manager.
