We are looking for you, whether you are a young man or woman, aged 18–40, who wants to work as a personal assistant for this lovely young man. Here is his introduction:

Hello!

I am an independent, happy, and positive 20-year-old with a physical disability. My hands are a bit clumsy, but I am mobile and can move between my assistive devices, though I need some support in certain situations. Otherwise, I need help with hand-holding, feeding, cooking, and personal hygiene, among other things.

My interests include working out, training in various para-sports, playing chess, listening to music, reading books, and attending events.

As an assistant, you should be reliable, positive, and engaged. I don't say no to a bit of humor. You should not be afraid to jump in when needed, but you also need the ability to stay in the background when required. As mentioned, I am independent and do not have an intellectual disability. Social competence is important, as is being handy, since my assistive devices sometimes need adjustment and fixing. Speaking and understanding Swedish is a given.

I have been accepted to Valjevikens Folk High School for the autumn term and am super excited about it. I will have my own apartment with a separate assistant room and will live at the school during the terms. I will travel home on some weekends, and I am often out participating in various activities, so you need a driver's license and access to a car. My working hours will be day shifts from 08:00 in the morning until 08:00 the next day. You will sleep over at my place, and if I need help during the night, you are the assistant ready to help. You will be with me during the school day and help with everything that a pair of clumsy hands might struggle with. In the afternoons and evenings, I will likely participate in the school's activities, and you will be with me. At night, you will sleep over in an adjacent assistant room and help me if I need anything during the night.
