Temporary Personal Assistant Needed for Woman in Hägersten
IGS Assistans AB is now looking for a flexible personal assistant for a temporary position with one of our clients in Hägersten.
About the Position
We are looking for someone who does not necessarily want to work many hours, but who can be available on short notice, especially in acute situations such as illness or childcare.
You preferably live in Hägersten or Älvsjö and have a daily routine that allows for quick on-call shifts – perhaps you are studying remotely, working from home, or returning to the workforce after parental leave (with childcare options available if needed).
We are primarily looking for someone who is an early riser and can work day shifts between 07:00–16:00, but there are also opportunities for evening shifts (16:00–24:00).
About the Client
The client is a woman in her 40s who uses a wheelchair and has Cerebral Palsy along with some speech difficulties. She describes her needs as follows:
"As a personal assistant, you are my support in daily life so that my life functions as well as possible. I want to decide what and how things are done myself, but I need help planning and carrying out tasks. I am an active and cheerful girl who uses an electric wheelchair and enjoys being outdoors, meeting friends, chatting, dancing, and traveling. I attend day activities and sometimes physiotherapy. It is important that you can express yourself well in speech and writing, as I sometimes need help with communication. If you also have an interest in computers, that is a plus."
Job Responsibilities
As a personal assistant, you work in the client's home and act as her extended arms and legs. You help with what the client would do herself if she did not have a disability – without taking over tasks she can manage on her own.
The work includes, among other things:
- Assistance with mobility and personal hygiene
- Cooking, cleaning and other household chores
- Support during activities outside the home
- Assistance with communication and planning when needed
We are looking for someone who is:
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and flexible
- Attentive to the client's needs and wishes
- Professional in your approach and respectful of the client's privacy
- Respectful of the fact that the work takes place in someone else's home
- Patient and comfortable with the fact that the work sometimes involves quieter moments
We prefer female applicants aged 30–55, but personal maturity and life experience are more important than age.

- Working Hours: Primarily day shifts 07:00–16:00, with opportunities for evening shifts 16:00–24:00
