The Workplace
The Social Services Administration in Karlsborg is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, care for people with disabilities, as well as municipal health and medical care. The administration has approximately 250 employees.
With significant changes happening in social services regarding legislative updates, we are investing in a new role focused on quality development! Here, you will become part of a team working in a broad operation, close to decision-makers, and collaborating well with schools, labor market units, and other actors. Your Responsibilities
As a Quality Developer within Individual and Family Care in Karlsborg, you will play a central role in our development work, focusing on the implementation of the new Social Services Act and other legislative changes affecting operations. The position is fixed-term, with a possibility of extension.
You will work closely with management, supervisors, and employees to ensure that operations develop in line with new requirements and conditions. The assignment involves driving, coordinating, and supporting quality and development work that contributes to a legally secure, knowledge-based, and effective social service.
In this role, you will among other things:
- Lead and coordinate quality work within Individual and Family Care together with management.
- Drive and organize the work to develop and introduce new measures according to the new Social Services Act.
- Support operations in developing, following up, and securing the quality of methods, documentation, and processes.
- Develop, revise, and implement guidelines, routines, and steering documents based on new legislation and operational needs.
- Act as a methodological support for case workers and providers, and participate in professional forums and development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal and external actors to create conditions for long-term and sustainable development work.
- Collect, compile, and analyze statistics, key figures, and other relevant data as a basis for development and decision-making.
- Follow legal developments and changes in legislation, and support operations in translating new requirements into practical work.
- Support the development of systematic follow-ups and strengthen continuous improvement work.

Your Profile
We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or another higher education qualification that the employer considers equivalent. You have good knowledge of the social services' mission, relevant legislation, and the new Social Services Act.
It is meritorious if you have experience in quality and development work, change management, implementation, and operational development. Long-term experience from various areas of individual and family care is also requested.
As a person, you are driven, structured, and development-oriented. You work independently, collaborate well with others, and have the ability to create engagement in change processes. You express yourself well orally and in writing and have good analytical skills.
