We are looking for two nurses for special housing in Höör

Höör is located in the heart of Scania, has good train connections, beautiful nature, 17,000 inhabitants, and a steady population growth. With approximately 1,400 employees, Höör Municipality is the largest employer. Many of our employees commute here.

We are now looking for 2 nurses for two different special housing facilities.

Maglehill

Maglehill is our newly built special housing facility for people with dementia and cognitive impairment. The special housing consists of 56 apartments distributed over two floors.

Skogsgläntan

Skogsgläntan is a special housing facility with a somatic focus, consisting of 26 apartments.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for two competent and responsible nursing colleagues. As a nurse with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on qualified health and medical care interventions.

You work closely with our citizens and their relatives in a cross-professional team consisting of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and care staff. Collaboration with doctors from the health center is well established. We work together to create security and quality. All licensed personnel operate from the same premises in the municipal office, which creates good opportunities for good collaboration with colleagues.

At our organization, it is important that we provide quality care and put the citizen at the center! We are therefore proud to have both a specialist in elderly care, team leader/mentor, medical secretary, and district assistant nurses; who assist the nurses in daily work to free up time for pure nursing tasks.

We document in LifeCare HSL. We work actively with, among other things, Senior Alert, BPSD, National Care Plan for Palliative Care (NVP), and My Plans.

We work according to an eight-week schedule, which includes two weekends and some evenings.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with previous experience within municipal health and medical care with a genuine interest in elderly care. We want you to be flexible, solution-focused, structured, and confident in your role. Good collaboration skills are a given, but it is equally important that you can work independently.

As a person, you have an enthusiastic attitude and good pedagogical skills to supervise, teach, and delegate care staff. If you have previous experience working in special housing or further education in dementia, it is meritorious. You are computer literate and have a good ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish. Furthermore, you need to have a B driver's license.

Employment Terms

  • Salary: Monthly salary.
  • Employment type: Permanent position.
  • Duration: Permanent, start date: To be agreed upon.
  • Working hours: Schedule. The position comprises 38.25 hours per week.

The position will be filled subject to the necessary political decisions being made and provided it does not need to be taken for internal use.
