The Business Area (VO) Acute Care Close to Care within the Department of Close Care and Health consists of emergency departments that do not operate 24/7, as well as evening and weekend clinics (EWC) within Region Skåne.

Business Area (VO) Acute Care, Area 2 Close to Care, includes among other things the weekend clinic and the emergency department in Trelleborg.

Job Description

We are now welcoming a new nurse to our team.

You will combine your role between the Weekend Clinic and the Emergency Department in Trelleborg. The distribution for the position is approximately 30 percent at the Weekend Clinic and the remaining 70 percent at the Emergency Department.

Your duties at the Weekend Clinic include telephone advice, triage, sample collection, and assistance at the doctor's clinic. You will also be involved in improvement and development work. This is to offer our patients high medical quality and a good work environment for our employees.

In the role of a nurse at the Emergency Department, you are an important part of the team surrounding the patient. You work with assessment, prioritization, treatment, and nursing in an environment where no day is like the other. At the same time, you are given the opportunity to engage in improvement projects and help develop both our care and our work environment.

In this position, you are offered the opportunity to gain good insight into both our operations, and to develop skills in both acute handling and triaging patients to the correct care facility.

You will work according to a schedule with varying working hours, including day shifts, evening shifts, and two weekends out of five.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. It is meritorious if you are trained as a district nurse. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. It is meritorious if you have work experience within primary care and/or emergency care. We also see knowledge of PMO (Patient Management System) as an advantage.

In addition, the department is responsible for the development and follow-up of the transition to close care in Region Skåne. The number of employees is estimated to be around 1,000.
