Job Description

We are looking for a Change Leader / Transformation Leader to support an organizational transition from pm3-based governance to a product-centric model for a public sector client in Västra Götaland.

The organization is undergoing a transformation of its IT governance and management model. The new model involves changes in governance, financing, roles and responsibilities, collaboration, and ways of working. You will support the transformation from pm3 to a product-centric governance model, focusing on establishing best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer, and coaching key roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Support leadership and key personnel in the transition process
• Establish new governance models, financing principles, and portfolio management
• Ensure knowledge transfer and build internal capabilities
• Coach and support key roles in leading within the new model
• Translate the target state into a concrete implementation plan
• Ensure adoption and anchoring within the organization

Required Qualifications

• Several years of experience with pm3 in large organizations
• Documented experience in replacing or changing established development and management models, and supporting the transition from governance-driven to product-centric governance
• Experience with product-centric models where governance, financing, and responsibility have been changed in practice
• Good understanding of the interplay between governance, organization, financing, architecture, and ways of working
• Experience working closely with both business leadership and IT leadership
• Experience in portfolio management, prioritization, and financing principles
• Experience in change management where roles, responsibilities, and mandates are affected
• Experience in knowledge transfer and competence development within changing organizations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from the public sector or politically governed organizations
• Experience with transformations in collaborative organizations/operations
• Experience with SAFe, Lean, DevOps, or similar methodologies
• Experience establishing product ownership with clear mandates and responsibilities
• Experience with value stream mapping, organization design, and business architecture
• Experience in training and coaching managers and leadership teams
• Experience with benefit realization and outcome management in large change initiatives
