We are now looking for a personal assistant for our client, a woman living in Lund who has ALS. She uses assistive devices such as a ventilator, lift, suction and cough assist machine, and needs support in her daily life to live a safe, active, and meaningful life.

There are also two friendly cats in the home, so you must be animal-friendly.

About you:

  • Experience in healthcare or personal assistance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Interest in a long-term employment

Working hours:

• Day shift: 09:00–15:00
• Evening shift: 15:00–21:00
• Night shift: 21:00–09:00 (awake night)

Employment type:

• Hourly employment with the possibility of a permanent position

You do not need formal education to work in this role; you will receive thorough training in assistive devices and routines.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at SAAND Assistans is that you can present a valid ID and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers must request a police record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18. To ensure the safety of our clients at SAAND Assistans, we obtain extracts from the criminal record register for all those we hire. Therefore, you must present a police record extract prior to any potential employment.
