We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our fast-growing AI-tech company. At Lingio, we develop accessible and effective language training using innovative methods such as gamification, micro-learning, and AI.

We are driven by the belief that language is one of the most important keys to integration, inclusion, and personal development. Now we are looking for you who want to be part of changing how people learn languages, strengthen their skills, and open doors to new opportunities.

Welcome to Lingio – where business, innovation, and real social benefit go hand in hand.

About the role

This is Lingio’s first dedicated Strategic Account Manager role, meaning you will help shape how we work with our most important customer relationships moving forward. You will be responsible for an established customer portfolio with a focus on developing the business over time through renewals, upselling, strategic customer development, and proactive work to minimize churn. Together with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product, you will work closely with customers to understand their business, identify new needs, and create long-term value. You will build structured customer plans and prioritize where the potential is greatest.

You will work with companies, municipalities, and regions where business often involves multiple decision-makers and longer processes. Here, you move seamlessly between different levels in the organization, from HR managers, social directors, and operations managers to budget owners, project managers, CEOs, and end-users. To succeed, you need to thrive in complex environments where business acumen, relationship building, and strategic thinking go hand in hand. When there is value in meeting in person, you are on-site, whether it involves strategic customer meetings, networking events, or industry conferences. Travel will occur as needed, but always with a clear purpose and a plan for how the business can be further developed.

We are looking for someone who...

...has a genuine business drive and knows how to develop customer relationships into growing businesses within B2B SaaS. You are not satisfied with the customer being satisfied right now; you want to know where they will be in three years and ensure Lingio is part of that journey. You are curious and ask the right questions, challenge established ways of working, are proactive, and identify opportunities before the customer has even formulated the need.

You thrive in complex organizations with multiple decision-makers and move naturally across different levels. You understand the playing field in both the private and public sectors and know that business in municipalities and regions requires patience, endurance, and the ability to keep many relationships alive simultaneously. Structure is a natural part of your working style, while you also have a creative streak that helps you find new ways forward and turn insights into concrete business opportunities.

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, with clear new sales and/or expansion responsibility
  • You have owned and driven sales processes with a budget responsibility of at least 5 MSEK ARR
  • Experience working with municipalities, regions, or other public sector entities is highly advantageous
  • Verbal skills that enable you to reach out, engage, and build trust in customer meetings
  • Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing
