Our Operations

We have approximately 400 employees distributed across clinics, wards, and medical sections. A large part of our care consists of national and regional patients referred for highly specialized investigation and treatment. We are a research-intensive clinic working in close collaboration with Uppsala University.

The HPB Section

The department covers the investigation and treatment of surgical diseases of the liver, pancreas, and biliary tract. We provide highly specialized cancer care for the Region of Central Sweden.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have been a specialist in surgery for at least five years, with previous experience in HPB surgery and are active in research. You have good medical judgment, strong collaboration skills, and work in a structured manner. Great importance is placed on your interest in research as well as your commitment to operational development.

What We Offer

A temporary substitute position starting in September 2026. Opportunities for extension and permanent employment exist. Salary and start date are negotiable.
