Tierp Health Centre
Our 1,800 employees work with close-to-home care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centres or within habilitation services, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we tailor our services to the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.
Are you our new colleague at Tierp Health Centre?
Welcome to us in Tierp, one of the country's largest health centres with a large and diverse operation. We are looking for you with commitment and drive who want to be part of our team. We offer a full-time temporary position for 1 year, with a possible extension.

Your Role
As a nurse at Tierp Health Centre, you have a varied job. Your tasks include assessing and helping patients in telephone advice and in direct meetings in scheduled clinics. You will also have the opportunity to work with acute patients during the day at our emergency clinic, which is part of the health centre's mission. Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. Previous experience with healthcare systems, telephone advice, and triage is meritorious.

Our Operation
Tierp Health Centre is located between Uppsala and Gävle with good commuting opportunities. From Uppsala, both the commuter train and buses run once every half hour during rush hour, and the health centre is within walking distance from the station. We have approximately 19,700 registered patients, making us one of the country's largest health centres. We are approximately 120 employees who work in teams with all services within the health centre's mission. We also have an emergency clinic. Our patients are both young and old and live in Tierp and the surrounding sparsely populated areas.

Region Uppsala values the qualities that equal gender distribution and diversity bring to the operation and welcomes applicants of all genders and with different birth backgrounds, functionalities, and life experiences.
Region Uppsala places all permanent staff in wartime positions based on the needs of the total defence. This means no obligations for the individual employee in peacetime but is solely a planning measure.
Before a decision on employment, a check of suspicion and criminal records is conducted for all job seekers who in the sought employment may come to work within psychiatric care, habilitation, care of children and youth, or compulsory care of addicts, areas covered by optional record extracts. This thus applies to all who will work close to patients, even if the tasks at present are not intended to mainly contain work with the above-mentioned patient groups.
This recruitment is carried out entirely through Region Uppsala's own resources, and we decline phone calls from recruitment agencies and advertising sales.
