Combitech's development center in Trollhättan continues to expand. We execute projects within design, calculation, manufacturing technology, and software for customers across the country. Our largest customers are within defense, aerospace, automotive, marine, and telecommunications, but we also have local customers in our immediate area. Our projects vary in size – from single engineers to teams of over 50 people. In total, we are 220 engineers at our office at Innovatum in Trollhättan.

Your Role as Consulting Unit Manager

The role of Consulting Unit Manager at Combitech combines consulting assignments with responsibility as a manager and leader. In this role, you work operationally in assignments for both internal and external customers, while also having personnel responsibility for your group.

Personnel responsibilities include, among other things, developing the competence of the group and the individual, conducting employee interviews, and being responsible for salary setting. You will be part of the business unit's management group together with the business unit manager and other consulting unit managers. The management group is responsible for the unit's customer relations, development, and results.

In the consulting role, the nature and length of assignments may vary, but primarily involve working in customer projects at our development center, in our own premises. As a consultant, you are also Combitech's face to the outside world, and with your experience and competence, you contribute to developing our customers' operations and profitability.

Who are you?

To succeed in the role, you need to be able to contribute technical support in our calculation projects, ensure high quality in our deliveries, and at the same time have a clear focus on your employees.

You should have industrial experience within one or more of our competence areas within calculation and analysis, such as structural dynamics, strength, rigid body analysis, acoustics, flow, water impact, and crash safety. Experience from several different industries and sectors is advantageous.

As a Consulting Unit Manager, you are an important culture carrier at Combitech, and we therefore place great emphasis on your personal qualities. We are looking for someone who is engaged, receptive, and outgoing, with a strong sense of responsibility and business acumen. Since competence development is a central part of our operations, we would appreciate it if you had a coaching approach and a genuine interest in supporting your employees in their development, respecting their individual prerequisites and abilities. We also value experience in project management, coordination, and team leadership roles.

Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, it is required that you undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.
