About the role

The position of Maintenance Manager is a newly created role with a clear mandate: to drive, strengthen, and further develop maintenance work within the operations. You have overall responsibility for maintenance – regarding personnel, budget, and results – and work closely with production in daily operations.

Your mission includes:

• Leading and developing maintenance work with a focus on structure, follow-up, and results
• Driving improvement and preventive work to the next level
• Ensuring clear goals, methods, and follow-up
• Being an active part of production and collaborating closely with production managers
• Leading through your managers and supporting them in their leadership

You have six direct-reporting managers and a total of approximately 40 employees in the area. You are part of the management team and report to the Operation Manager. The focus of the role is operational, with a strong emphasis on presence in the operations in Billingsfors.

Your profile

We are looking for a confident and experienced leader with a good understanding of maintenance in an industrial environment.

We believe you have:

• Experience from process industry or qualified manufacturing industry
• Previous managerial role with personnel, budget, and result responsibility
• Good technical understanding and insight into maintenance work
• Experience working systematically with improvements and follow-up
• Experience of management team work (meritorious)
• Knowledge in areas such as Lean, 5S, or similar working methods (meritorious)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

As a person, you are clear and confident in your leadership, while also being driven, structured, and result-oriented. You are present and engaged in the operations, and you feel comfortable taking your place and contributing actively in the management team.
