Kronängsskolan is a lower secondary school where we work together with a focus on students' safety, health, and learning. We are now looking for an engaged and competent school psychologist who wants to contribute to our student health work and create the best conditions for our students' well-being and development.

About the Position

As a school psychologist at Kronängsskolan, you will become an important part of the school's student health team. You have a central role in the preventive and remedial student health work, where you contribute psychological expertise in matters concerning students' learning, development, and mental health. You work at the individual, group, and organizational levels.

Your role as a school psychologist involves not only investigative and consultative efforts, but also being an active and responsive resource in the school's overall work with students' health and well-being.

You contribute psychological knowledge regarding protective and risk factors for students' health, learning, and development.

You will:

• Work preventively and health-promoting from a psychological perspective.
• Conduct psychological investigations and assessments.
• Be part of the school's student health team, where you contribute to the overall student health work with your expertise.
• Collaborate with guardians and external actors such as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) and social services when necessary.
• Be part of a psychologist network together with the municipality's other school psychologists and receive continuous professional supervision.
• Collaborate with, among others, social services, BUP, and other healthcare providers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist and have experience working as a school psychologist at the lower secondary level.

You are accustomed to working consultatively and have the ability to translate psychological knowledge into practice in the school's operations.

To thrive in the role, we see that you are flexible, communicative, and have a good ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are confident in your professional role, find it easy to collaborate, and actively contribute to the school's development work.

Conditions

The position is part-time at 50% and permanent, with a start date as agreed.
