A family in Tyresö is looking for a secure, warm, and engaged nanny who wants to become an important part of their son's daily life. The family lives in a villa in a quiet and pleasant area with good transport connections – the bus stop is right outside the house.

The father is Finnish but speaks Swedish fluently and speaks Finnish with his son. The home is therefore bilingual, and the son is growing up with both Swedish and Finnish.

The son is 15 months old and is described as an early, curious, and active little boy with lots of energy. He is clear in his communication, understands most of what is said to him, and has a vocabulary of approximately 15–20 words. He understands both Swedish and Finnish.

He loves everything related to the kitchen and cooking – he enjoys sitting in a carrier and being present when dad is cooking. Kitchen utensils are exciting and fun to explore. He also enjoys reading books, building with Duplo, singing together, and actively participating in what is happening around him. He eats by himself and likes to be involved.

The family has two cats in the home.

The nanny will work 3–4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and possibly Thursday) from 15:00, when the nanny picks up the child from preschool, until the parents return home around 18:00.

The distance between the home and the preschool is approximately 2 km. The nanny and son can walk home directly, or alternatively take the bus which stops right outside the house. A driver's license is an advantage but not a requirement.

Sometimes ready-made dinner is available at home, but on some days the family would like the nanny to prepare a simple dinner for the son. Bedtime routines are not included in the duties.

A person with life experience and a sense of security is appreciated. The most important qualities are:

• Warm, stable, and empathetic
• Attentive to a small child's wishes and curiosity
• Playful and engaged in language, song, and creative play
• Confident in preparing simple child meals
• Comfortable with cats

Salaries are determined individually depending on experience and education and are comparable to preschool teacher salaries in Stockholm. Minimum wage 150 SEK/hour. We can offer higher wages up to 210 SEK/hour for nannies with extensive experience and/or pedagogical education. Fixed monthly salaries occur within certain positions.

• At least three years of experience in professional work with children (certificate/documentation and references required) or equivalent competence?
• An interest in working with children and their development?
• Pedagogical education such as preschool teacher, childcare worker, teacher, leisure-time pedagogue, drama pedagogue, etc., is an advantage, as is a driver's license!
