Your mission with us

As a special needs teacher with us, you have a central and significant role in our school. You work with helping and supporting students in grades F–6, both through direct interventions in and outside the classroom.

In this role, you will:

• Analyze and map students' needs and develop concrete, successful strategies for their academic and social development.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers, after-school care staff, and school leadership to create a holistic view of the students and develop teaching based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's guidelines.
• Think outside the box and use compensatory learning tools and digital resources (ICT) to make learning accessible and enjoyable.
• Contribute to our shared journey through collegial learning and experience sharing in a strong and supportive team.

Who are you?

We are looking for an engaged and certified special needs teacher who puts the students' best interests first. You have a coaching and solution-focused approach, as well as the ability to meet students, guardians, and colleagues in a communicative and trust-inspiring manner.

• Requirements: Teaching certification with eligibility as a special needs teacher.
• Personal qualities: You are flexible, structured, and confident in your professional role. A low-affective and inclusive approach is second nature to you.
• Merits: It is a great advantage if you have education in or experience with Montessori pedagogy, as it is a strong source of inspiration for our operations. Experience in the field is meritorious, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates to contribute with your energy and fresh knowledge!

Montessoriskolan Alexandra is a small, personal, and independent primary school with approximately 60 students in grades F–6, as well as after-school activities. We are run by a non-profit foundation, which means that all resources go directly towards creating the best possible school for our children.

We are proud of our Jewish profile and Montessori profile, and at our school, students and staff with different backgrounds and religious orientations meet in a warm environment characterized by diversity and inclusion.
