Mimers Hus Gymnasium opened in 2004 and is an attractive upper secondary school located in central Kungälv. Currently, there are approximately 1,600 students attending the school, distributed across twelve national programs, including vocational preparatory, academic preparatory, and introductory programs. The school offers, among other things, sports profiles within all programs and Entrepreneurship and Innovation (UF) within several.

The Care and Nursing program is part of the Care and Nursing College, where we are engaged in ongoing development work together with other actors in the municipality.

Approximately 180 staff members work at the school today.

Our common goal and focus is that everyone should succeed.

Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues, you will teach and mentor students within the Care and Nursing program. We see you as an important and driving force to develop both the program and your subjects, with the students in focus and in collaboration with colleagues. Together, you and your colleagues coach the students both socially and academically throughout their study time at Mimers Hus.

In addition to vocational-specific courses, the position includes other tasks such as mentoring, planning, assessment, and guidance in various learning situations both at school and in connection with APL (workplace-based learning).

Collaboration is important to you, and you have the ability to create and maintain good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues alike.

We would prefer that you have a nursing education. A vocational teacher degree is meritorious.
