Role and responsibilities

As a Senior Software / Embedded Engineer, you will likely be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating embedded software and system-level solutions. Typical responsibilities often include:

• Lead development and maintenance of embedded software components using C++, Python, and/or Linux
• Architect and optimize software for performance, reliability, and low-level hardware interaction
• Integrate software with hardware platforms and support system bring-up
• Write and maintain clear documentation, tests, and validation procedures
• Mentor junior colleagues and foster best practices in code quality and development workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders to deliver project goals

What we’re always on the lookout for

• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in Embedded software and/or Systems development
• Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and/or Signal Processing
• Experience in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
• Solid understanding of Embedded platforms, real-time constraints, and hardware interfaces
• Experience with Linux, version control, and continuous integration workflows
• Understanding and willingness to deep dive into AI, ML, and DL
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluent in English and Swedish (spoken & written)
• Located in Gothenburg or nearby
• Swedish Citizenship
