About the Backend Developer Role

In this role, you will become a key person in our smaller development team in Gothenburg, working closely with a local developer colleague and an Engineering Manager.

Lexit Group has a larger software team in Norway that leads the work. Together within the company, Lexit Group develops and modernizes business-critical solutions that connect B2B trade with their end customers.

AI-Driven Development

Lexit Group's workflows are developing in a clear direction towards AI-assisted development, and currently, Claude Code is the primary tool. Experience with AI tools or an interest in growing into an AI-focused role is highly meritorious.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Hands-on backend development in C# and .NET
• Refine and further develop our cloud-based architecture in Azure, focusing on microservices and Domain Driven Design (DDD).
• Data modeling in EF Core with SQL Server as the storage solution
• Take responsibility for the long-term management, performance, and observability of the codebase
• Collaborate with product owners and customers on the design of smart integrations
• Keep an eye on the big picture even if the focus is on backend; you are open to working with frontend (Angular) or app (MAUI) when needed

About You

To succeed in this role, you are a confident and curious developer who dares to take initiative and challenge established truths to find the best way forward. We are looking for someone who has gained experience from various environments and projects, giving you a good understanding of what is required to keep a codebase clean and sustainable in the long term.

Key Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development within .NET and C#
• Good experience with cloud solutions in Azure
• Experience from several different companies or projects, allowing you to have seen different types of architectures and working methods
• Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience with, or a strong interest in, AI-assisted development, professionally or as a hobby
• Understanding of microservices and Domain Driven Design (DDD)
