About Lindbackaskolan

Lindbackaskolan is the lower secondary school in the central town of Lindesberg. The school has approximately 450 students in grades 7-9 and around 70 staff members divided into 9 teams, with a team leader in each team. The operations also include teaching for students with autism diagnoses in grades 1-9.

The school has a well-functioning student health team, where all professions are represented.

Here, you will meet colleagues who are accustomed to discussing pedagogical issues and challenges, who believe in collegial learning, and in every student's inherent abilities.

Responsibilities

As a resource teacher, you will collaborate closely with educators and special needs teachers/special educators. You will work directly with students, both at the individual and group levels. Part of the role involves supporting special needs teachers/special educators, so having a special needs teacher education and experience in similar work is advantageous.

You are part of the school's promoting and preventive work. You are expected to contribute to the school's development to meet today's, as well as tomorrow's, needs.

You are a central figure in the organization, which requires good social competence and teamwork skills, as well as being positive, flexible, and communicative.

Qualifications

  • A special needs teacher degree is advantageous, along with experience in similar assignments.
  • We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Employment Terms

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months, start date: 2026-08-10 or by agreement. Interviews will be held continuously during the advertisement period.

This position is new and fixed-term for the autumn term 2026, with the possibility of extension if necessary decisions are made.
