Who are we looking for?

We are now looking for a passionate chef who wants to work in a team where a service-oriented attitude and teamwork are at the center. With curiosity and enthusiasm, you create flavorful and well-prepared dishes with a focus on sustainability. Our focus is on the daily menu, but we also have a guest dining room for á la carte.

The role involves significant guest contact. We want you, like the rest of us, to thrive when you have the opportunity to surprise the guest, and that you enjoy doing that little extra to deliver the best service and quality.

Together, we contribute to creating a good and attractive work environment. The work is varied, and we draw influences from all over the world. As a person, you are structured and meticulous, and we want you to bring your own initiatives, ideas, and suggestions for improvement.

The position includes daily work with self-control, having good knowledge of allergens, and being able to account for all ingredients. You will also handle ordering and receiving goods, as well as waste management. Additionally, you will assist with menu planning and inventory.

About Restaurant Solhöjden

Restaurant Solhöjden is located in Kallebäck, Gothenburg. In the restaurant, we want to create a natural meeting place where we constantly work on developing ourselves to offer a selection that suits different types of requests. There should be something for both the trend-conscious and the more conservative guest. We are a team that values diversity, collaboration, and having fun at work.

Since we operate within a protected object, a police certificate (register extract), background check, and confidentiality certificate are required.

The police certificate must be clean, and you must be a Swedish citizen, as the operations are conducted within a classified security area.

Who are you?

• You are over 18 years old.
• You have education in hospitality and restaurant services with a chef focus or equivalent.
• You have previous experience in restaurant work.
• You have the ability to plan and structure work efficiently.
• You take responsibility, through your passion, for maintaining a high level of service and quality in what you deliver.
• You see your importance in happy guests, are positive, stress-resistant, and easy to collaborate and communicate with.
• You can take your own initiatives and are flexible in your professional role.
• You speak and write Swedish.
• Experience with menu planning systems is a plus.
