Do you want to contribute to preserving and exhibiting one of Sweden's most significant art collections? We are looking for you who have technical competence, good collaboration skills, and a genuine interest in museum operations and collection management.

Nationalmuseum is a government agency with approximately 160 employees tasked with promoting art, interest in art, and art history. The museum's collections include painting, sculpture, drawings, and graphics from the 16th century to the turn of the 20th century, while the collections of decorative arts and design, as well as portrait art, extend to the present day.

The collections are displayed in the main building on Blasieholmen, Stockholm, and at approximately 20 other visitor sites, including Gripsholm Castle, Läckö Castle, Nationalmuseum Jamtli in Östersund, and Gustavsberg Porcelain Museum.

Nationalmuseum conducts exhibition, program, research, and publication activities, as well as lending operations. We strive to be a museum where everyone feels welcome and offer a broad range of activities both on-site and digitally. By providing contemporary perspectives on history and historical perspectives on the present, we enable in-depth conversations about art and design for all ages.
