Ersta Diakoni Elderly Care is part of Ersta Diakoni and operates a total of nine elderly care homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a secure and content-rich daily life, featuring activities, community, and good, pleasant meals. At our facilities, everyone should feel at home!

Hannahemmet is located in Råcksta/Bromma and has 54 apartments spread over three floors for people with cognitive illnesses and care needs. One of the dementia wards has a Finnish focus, which means there is bilingual staff and we observe Finnish holidays, traditions, and culture.

We have a large, sunny, and lush inner courtyard and are close to both nature and public transport. We are keen on creating an environment where the residents feel safe and at home – a place where genuine homeliness meets today's technology and modern working methods.

About the role

In the role of nursing assistant, you work closely with residents, relatives, managers, and other care personnel. You and your colleagues plan the workday based on the residents' individual needs and wishes. We focus on person-centered care, activities, care meals, and key worker systems.

Creating a sense of home and a meaningful daily life is an important part of the assignment. By seeing the individual, acknowledging needs, and building relationships, you contribute to each person living their life as independently and meaningfully as possible.

The advertisement refers to day/evening or night shifts. When you submit your application, you will be able to choose which type of position you are interested in. The positions are available from October 2026.

Your experience

We are looking for you who have:

• A professional certificate as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen)
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Good computer skills
