About the role

We are looking for a licensed speech-language pathologist for our clinic in Tyresö (city center). The position is full-time and permanent, with a desired start date at the beginning of the autumn semester. The focus is on children and assessments. In the long term, there is also an opportunity to work with selective mutism.

Röstkonsulten C.E AB has been operating in Stockholm since 1999. Currently, we have clinics in Haninge, Jordbro, Nynäshamn, Nacka, and Tyresö. All clinics work with general speech-language pathology and have care agreements with SLSO.

In addition to patient care, we also hold external lectures and courses throughout the country for municipalities, healthcare facilities, schools, and companies.

We maintain active contact between colleagues at all clinics through, for example, development work in diagnostic groups, group case discussions, and joint training efforts during our all-day conferences.

We want the speech-language pathologist's focus to be on the patient meeting and the speech-language pathology intervention. We therefore have an administration that handles much of the mail and part of the booking-related tasks for all clinics.

What do you do as a speech-language pathologist?

You will primarily work with the assessment, treatment, and training of patients with speech and language difficulties, as well as dyslexia assessments.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Performing assessments of communication, language, and speech difficulties.
• Investigating issues related to dyslexia and language disorders.
• Planning, implementing, and evaluating individual treatment plans for patients.
• Medical record management in TakeCare.
• Collaborating with other parts of Röstkonsulten as well as other operations to create the smoothest possible care for patients.
• Providing support and counseling to patients and their relatives within the framework of the care choice.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a licensed speech-language pathologist and who either have experience working with children and adults in primary care speech-language pathology, or an interest in developing within this area. We place great importance on personal qualities and compatibility. To fit into the role of a care-choice speech-language pathologist, we see that you as an applicant are empathetic, pedagogical, and can balance quality with efficiency. You primarily want to work with patient contacts and are comfortable working in line with established routines and guidelines.

Requirements

• Licens as a speech-language pathologist.
