Do you want to make a difference? Do you want to work with people where small efforts have a big impact? Then apply to Tensta Health Centre.
Tensta Health Centre is an established general practice. We are a region-run health centre offering good working conditions, an stimulating work environment, and a friendly, family-like staff group with great enthusiasm and commitment. We strive for modern leadership focused on attentiveness, participation, and trust. You will receive benefits such as flexible hours, a wellness allowance, and continuous professional development. Here, you have a golden opportunity to work with a diverse patient group with different socioeconomic backgrounds. If you enjoy variety in your work environment with varying patient contacts and teamwork, this job is perfect for you.
About the role:
We are currently looking for a nurse with experience in primary care to work at the clinic as an on-call, telephone advice, and reception nurse.
The work as an on-call nurse is varied, and the role is crucial for the health centre as it acts as the hub. Close collaboration occurs with the on-call doctor, reception, other clinics, and the laboratory. Duties include assessment/triage and handling unplanned and acute patients. Advice and guidance via phone and chat are part of the daily work, so the ability to work in different systems is important. At the clinic, tasks also include medication management, infusions, wound care, lifestyle counseling, etc.
As an on-call nurse, you have responsibility for the daily operations at the health centre. This includes responsibility for the medication store, the emergency room, and ensuring smooth patient flow. You must therefore be flexible and able to work in a team at varying paces, focusing on high quality and patient-centered care. You should also enjoy meeting different types of people and be curious about each individual's unique story.
We use the phone system TeleQ and the chat system Vårdportalen. Documentation is done in TakeCare. We use referral and advisory support in our contact with patients, both physically and digitally.
There is close collaboration between all clinics at the health centre, such as asthma/COPD, diabetes, elderly care, district nursing clinics, and home care. For several years, we have also worked within the health-promoting primary care mandate. This creates good conditions for you as an employee to develop within your profession.
We really hope that you are the one we are looking for and that you wish to become part of our community and contribute to equal healthcare for the residents of Tensta.

You have strong empathy and personal maturity, which gives you independence and helps you take responsibility for the patient, yourself, and your tasks. You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively, setting and keeping timeframes. We are looking for you who want to help develop our operations with a focus on the patient!
