About the Psychiatric Specialist Clinic for PTSD and OCD

At the Psychiatric Specialist Clinic for PTSD and OCD, we provide high-level care focused on OCD and post-traumatic stress disorder. We work closely in a multidisciplinary manner with assessments and treatments to achieve the best possible results. Research and development are a significant part of our work. In addition, we actively work with supervision and training of younger and future colleagues. We have a special interest in care development and finding new and better ways to treat our patients.

The clinic is centrally located on Södermalm, in a building opposite Rosenlund Hospital. You will find Årstaviken and many good restaurants around the corner.

What is specific/unique about the position?

We actively work to support patients who need assistance with employment and activities. You work independently in your profession but are simultaneously an integrated part of our multiprofessional treatment teams. You will work as a counselor and rehabilitation coordinator. Together with our other rehabilitation coordinator (REKO), you will form the foundation for the patients' rehabilitation. The counselor role has a clear psychosocial and rehabilitative focus, emphasizing assessment, coordination, and rehabilitation for the patient's social and functional recovery. Patients are initiated into the rehabilitation process from the start if needed.

You contribute your specific psychosocial competence to the team's shared understanding of the patient's care needs and are a key resource in complex cases.

Requirements

We are looking for you who are a licensed healthcare counselor or social worker with several years of experience working in outpatient care within specialist psychiatry.

Merits: Completed basic course for rehabilitation coordinators: Basic training in insurance medicine for psychiatric personnel.

Personal qualities:

We are looking for you who are proactive, responsible, and confident in your professional role. You work independently but also thrive in and contribute to good teamwork. You have a good ability to structure, prioritize, and coordinate your work, and are communicative and receptive, with an easy ability to build trusting relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues.

You are flexible in your working methods and can adapt your role to the patient's needs. Sometimes you need to lead and coach patients in change and recovery processes, and at other times work more outreach-oriented to establish contact and create motivation for treatment and support. You have the ability to balance a supportive and guiding approach with clarity and structure.

What can we offer you?

The position is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week). Start date by agreement. A probationary period of 6 months may apply.

We offer the opportunity to work at a workplace that provides space for personal and professional development at both an individual and group level. We offer a dynamic work environment where we together ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

As an employer, we care about our employees' health and well-being and offer, among other things, flexible hours, a wellness hour, and an annual wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK.

Does this sound interesting?

We conduct ongoing interviews in this recruitment process, so hurry and submit your expression of interest.

We look forward to receiving your application!
