Here you are offered a stimulating role with double night shift allowances and a flexible schedule that provides good opportunities for recovery and regulated overnight rest.

About the position

As a night nurse with us, you will work with geriatric care for elderly patients who are often frail and multi-morbid. You will have an independent role where you assess the patients' condition, prioritize actions, and collaborate with nursing assistants. Our clinic has 24/7 intake and doctors on-site at night, meaning you always have support when needed. We also offer the opportunity for shadowing so that you can feel confident in your role.

What we offer

• Permanent employment. We may apply a probationary period.
• Employment rate is 100% (full-time equivalent is 32.20 hours/week).
• Double night shift allowances and benefits such as a wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK/year and wellness hours.

What we are looking for

• You are a licensed nurse with at least one year of experience in acute geriatrics or other acute care.
• You are solution-oriented, proactive, and enjoy working in a team.
• You have experience in leadership and good teamwork skills.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, and other language skills are meritorious.

Sabbatsberg Geriatrics is an acute geriatric clinic located in the heart of Stockholm. We work with the investigation, treatment, and rehabilitation of elderly patients with complex needs. Our patients come to us via emergency departments, ambulances, directly from home, or by referral from a general practitioner.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be used for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

In patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

- Register checks are applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.

- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
