About Us

The Child and Adolescent Medical Clinic (BUM) Viskan is a specialist outpatient clinic for children and young people aged 0 to 18. Here, children and young people with chronic illnesses receive qualified assessment, treatment, and follow-up. We see patients with allergies, asthma, enuresis, gastrointestinal diseases, obesity, eating difficulties, and growth issues. We also see children and young people with certain developmental deviations and psychosomatic complaints.

At the clinic, a multidisciplinary team of pediatric nurses, pediatricians, pediatric dietitians, psychologists, and medical secretaries work together. Together, we strive to provide safe, coordinated, and high-quality care for children, young people, and their families.

About the Role

As a psychologist here, you will become an important part of our team, supporting children and young people with mild to moderate mental health issues related to somatic illness. You will be offered a varied and developmental role where you work closely with other professional categories at the clinic in a tight and positive collaboration.

Your role includes conducting psychological assessments and investigations, offering treatment and parental support, as well as providing consultation to colleagues within the team. The work is characterized by a holistic view, collaboration, and a child- and family perspective.

The clinic follows Regionhälsan's career development model for psychologists, which gives you good opportunities for professional development over time. You will regularly participate in our professional meetings together with other psychologists at child and adolescent medical clinics, thereby gaining valuable collegial experience exchange. You are also offered regular group supervision as support in your clinical work and in your continued development as a psychologist.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with experience working with children and young people. It is desirable that you have knowledge and experience of CBT-oriented methods, preferably with a pragmatic and integrative approach.

As a person, we see that you have good collaboration skills and are secure in your professional role. You also have the ability to work both in a team and individually, and you have a good attitude towards colleagues and patients. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the position.
