About the role

In the role of Information Manager with a focus on BIM, you are responsible for developing and implementing methods so that specified technical asset information linked to BIM/AIM (Asset Information Model) can be transferred to operations.

The role involves a strategic and coordinating position with many interfaces within the organization. You are part of a working group consisting of designers, BIM specialists, and BIM coordinators from the project side, where your role is to work on requirement setting to ensure that the operation's requirements for manageability are met. You do this in collaboration with other information managers, maintenance, the documentation unit, etc.

The role requires a holistic perspective, where you ensure that information deliveries from BIM projects are structured, usable, and long-term manageable in our systems so that they can be used efficiently in operations.

Examples of tasks:

• Drive the implementation and development of processes for transferring asset information from projects to operations, with a focus on BIM/AIM.
• Ensure that models and metadata can be used and maintained in Svenska kraftnät's operation systems.
• Support projects and operations in requirement setting, standards, and quality control with a focus on operations.
• Contribute to the work on digital twin/asset management development.
• Together with the other information managers, drive and be responsible for work on data quality, organization/structuring, and requirement setting regarding asset information.

You will belong to the Information Management and Support unit. The unit has a central role in coordinating information management and supporting the organization in the work towards a more data-driven organization.

We are a unit of five employees with high competence and strong collaboration, where you will work closely with colleagues in different specialist areas. The role involves many interfaces and close collaboration with both the project and operation organizations.

About you

Must-have requirements:

We are looking for you who collaborate well with both internal and external colleagues and have the ability to work without hierarchy towards a common goal. You are solution-oriented and see possibilities for improvement and development. You also thrive working structured in a changing environment where a lot is happening.

You have a university degree in, for example, information technology, civil engineering, or energy, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät assesses as equivalent. Furthermore, you have:

• Several years of experience working with BIM or equivalent information models, where parts of the work were linked to operations.
• Several years of experience in working with information structures and digital handling of asset information.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• Experience as a BIM coordinator in projects where you were involved from project to operations.
• Good knowledge of CAD tools for working with BIM and underlying data, such as Revit or InfraWorks.
• Knowledge of current ISO standards, such as ISO 19650 and ISO 81346.
• Experience working with asset information for electricity power.
• Experience with model coordination in overhead lines, substation installations, or infrastructure projects such as roads or railways.
• Good understanding of information structure, metadata, object models, and how they are handled over the lifecycle.

• The position is a permanent employment with placement in Gothenburg, Sundbyberg, or Västerås.
