Are you a service-oriented mechanic who enjoys solving problems? Then you are the person we are looking for to join our rotating mechanic group in our central maintenance department!

The group consists of ten mechanics divided into five shift teams.

Your responsibilities

As a shift mechanic, you, together with your colleagues in the unit, have significant responsibility for performing maintenance on the company's machinery and equipment. The work includes both emergency corrective maintenance, preventive measures, and other planned maintenance tasks.

Daily duties also include contributing to the development and improvement of our working methods, processes, machinery, and equipment. In this role, you are also responsible for responding to alarms from business-critical machinery and ensuring that actions are taken in an efficient and safe manner.

The work is performed on a 5-shift rotation schedule.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are a service-oriented problem solver, flexible, and find it stimulating to quickly switch between tasks when unexpected issues arise. The work requires good teamwork skills as you work together with shift colleagues and, in some cases, in close collaboration with other departments within the business.

You are communicative, clear, and structured in your communication, and consider it natural to ensure a good handover between shifts as well as to provide regular status updates to customers and clients.

You are technically interested and curious about how machinery and equipment work, and you have a desire to learn new things. Improving your own working methods is a natural part of the job. Trust and respect for yourself and others are second nature to you, and you believe it is important to meet the customer's/stakeholder's needs in a safe and high-quality manner.

Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, computer skills, and the ability to read drawings are meritorious. A Class B driver's license is required, and experience with forklifts, lifts, and overhead cranes is meritorious.
