We are now looking for three mechanics to join our maintenance organization within metallurgy, the forged flow, and the rolled flow.

As a mechanic in Maintenance, you are responsible for performing planned and corrective maintenance on our facilities. You work closely with coordinators, maintenance technicians, and production to ensure operational reliability at the lowest possible cost – always with safety as the top priority.

The role is varied and combines practical work in the plant with analysis, improvement work, and digital reporting.

You report to the nearest maintenance manager and collaborate daily with coordinators and technicians within maintenance.

Your main responsibilities

• Perform daily, preventive, and corrective maintenance on facilities
• Daily supervision, rounds, and fault resolution
• Perform FU/FLT and document work in SAP
• Actively participate in improvement, analysis, and safety work
• Contribute to the planning and execution of summer shutdowns, annual shutdown plans, and shutdown days
• Report deviations and safety incidents in our systems (SAP, Mia, Centuri, etc.)
• Participate in safety rounds, pulse meetings, and improvement meetings
• Contribute to technical investigations related to disruptions, near misses, and accidents
• Act as an internal trainer and knowledge support within the maintenance organization
• Work according to Uddeholm's standards, process maps, and safety routines

Requirements:

• Experience in industrial maintenance and good mechanical knowledge
• Experience in troubleshooting as well as preventive and corrective maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Basic knowledge in welding and mechanical machining
• IT and system proficiency, as well as experience with digital reporting

Merits:
