Dematek AB is the market's most comprehensive provider of lifting equipment, service, and safety training. With a presence throughout Sweden, we are now looking for another service technician to join our team in Karlstad. You will work with the leading brands in the lifting industry and become part of our strong team at Dematek.

About you:

You will be offered a role where you manage your own working days and plan your work independently at our customers' sites. We assume you appreciate working with freedom under responsibility. At our customers' locations, you will perform preventive maintenance, service, and installation of our products, such as overhead cranes, winches, pillar jib cranes, and much more related to lifting. We are looking for an open person who enjoys customer contact and has an interest in selling both our services and products. You will have a well-equipped service vehicle at your disposal and a large network to call upon when you need assistance.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A strong interest in technology
• Previous experience as a service technician
• Experience with common administrative systems
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Basic knowledge of English
• Swedish citizenship (some assignments require security clearance)

It is an advantage if you have electrical knowledge and can program PLCs.

The work can be physically demanding, and since it is sometimes performed at heights, you must be able to obtain a certified fitness certificate for climbing with significant height differences. Underground work is also part of the role.

We prefer that you are detail-oriented, service-minded, and thrive in customer-facing roles. You are expected to communicate fluently in Swedish.

Other information

We assume you reside in the area around Karlstad. You will be based at our office/workshop and will have the opportunity to use the service vehicle as a company car. The position is full-time.

Many of our customers require security clearance. Therefore, it is important that you have a clean criminal record and a stable, good financial background. At some customer sites, alcohol and drug tests may be part of their security routines.
