Your role as a Senior Fiber Designer

As a Senior Fiber Designer with us, you are responsible for driving and executing design assignments within fiber and communication networks. You work from early investigations and planning phases to completed construction documents and final documentation. The role involves many contact points, and you collaborate closely with customers, contractors, authorities, landowners, and colleagues to create sustainable and efficient network solutions.

You will, among other things, work with the design and dimensioning of fiber networks, planning of excavation and laying solutions, network documentation, and technical investigations. The role also includes coordinating various stakeholders, handling permit issues, and contributing your experience in both customer dialogues and internal project teams. As a senior consultant, we also expect you to share your competence, act as a support to colleagues, and contribute to developing our working methods and offerings in this area.

Here, you will have the opportunity to work in both local and national projects together with some of the industry's most experienced specialists in communication infrastructure.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have at least five years of experience in fiber design and feel confident in the entire design process. You have likely worked as a fiber designer, project manager, construction manager, network planner, or in a similar role within the telecom or fiber industry. You have a good understanding of the structure of fiber networks, design tools, and documentation systems, as well as experience in dialogue with customers, contractors, landowners, and other external stakeholders. Experience from urban networks, network owners, or consulting activities is considered very meritorious.

You must have the Robust Fiber person certificate. It is also meritorious if you are certified as a Robust Fiber inspector and have experience working in dpCom.

We believe you are a person who enjoys taking responsibility, creating structure, and driving your work forward. At the same time, you value collaboration and find it easy to build trusting relationships with both customers and colleagues. You appreciate the freedom in the consultant role and are motivated by finding solutions that create value for the customer.

For the position, you need a Category B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
