Technical Department

Region Uppsala is characterized by strong growth, and the Property and Services administration is a key part of this. At Property and Services, we have an annual turnover of over one billion SEK and employ approximately 500 staff members. We develop, manage, and maintain a building area of over 760,000 square meters, ranging from new advanced healthcare buildings to medieval castles. We also handle transportation and work on logistical solutions within Region Uppsala, as well as being responsible for meal services for inpatients. Most of our customers are within the healthcare sector, with the largest customer being the University Hospital. Our Operations

Those of us working in the Technical Department within Property and Services manage and maintain the technical infrastructure in Region Uppsala's properties and premises. We are now looking for a Drift Engineer in HVAC!

Do you have competence in ventilation, heating, water, and sewage, and do you want to work with varied tasks in a complex operation undergoing continuous development? Then you will thrive with us, and we with you!

Your Role

In the role of Drift Engineer HVAC, you will work operationally with Region Uppsala's properties in the county outside the University Hospital. Your tasks include, among other things:

• Troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimizing technical systems in close contact with the operations.
• Ensure that operations have the necessary documentation to perform their duties and ensure that the operations have robust access to functioning HVAC systems.
• Provide technical support and instructions for supervision and maintenance to maintenance technicians.
• Collaborate with technical specialists to identify and prioritize maintenance and reinvestments, as well as preparations for inspections.

You will work in close collaboration with technical specialists, asset managers, and maintenance technicians, and participate in projects. Since your main responsibility is properties in the county, the work involves a fair amount of car travel within the county; a service vehicle is available.

You belong to the Technical Department, which consists of 20 employees with various specialist competencies in property technology, documentation, and healthcare function planning. You will become part of a unique group of engaged employees characterized by close collaboration and a good atmosphere.

Your Qualifications and Competence

We are looking for you with good technical experience in ventilation, water works, heating plants, heating and cooling systems, treatment plants, heat pumps, and cooling machines.

Requirements:

• Trained HVAC Engineer or equivalent as assessed by the employer.
• Experience within HVAC and its equipment and systems.
• Ability to educate and instruct within the technical field.
• Good Swedish language skills (written and spoken).
• Category B driver's license.

Merits:

• Experience in energy efficiency improvements.
• Relevant higher education.
• Experience from healthcare properties.

We Offer

The position is permanent at 100%. Appointment as soon as possible according to agreement.

You are stationed at the University Hospital and base your work there, but the majority of your working hours will be spent at Region Uppsala's properties.
