Who are we?

At Cartinavia AB, we operate a very unique business where we offer sightseeing tours in central Stockholm by driving our customers in golf carts designed for road traffic. We are the only company in Sweden that owns and has exclusive usage rights to these golf carts, which has led to explosive growth since the market launch of our idea. Cartinavia has long been ranked high on lists of activities in Stockholm, and we are today the best-seller with several of our resellers, such as Viator, where we have been awarded the "Badge of Excellence".

Your responsibilities

The work mainly involves driving the golf cart in central Stockholm on predetermined routes, sharing interesting facts about landmarks, and entertaining your customers during the tour. You will receive introductory training on all the landmarks and stories you will share, as well as the routes you will drive. Occasionally, we also conduct special tours where you act as both guide and personal chauffeur for your customers for a full day (commonly occurring during cruise ship arrivals). In these cases, you drive them between various destinations such as museums, restaurants, and shops, and you often accompany them to the fun activities they visit during the day.

During the season, you may also perform less common assignments where you are needed as a driver for events or larger private parties. Previously, we have helped with a commercial shoot for Under Armour, transported the executive team of the publicly listed company John Deere during a European conference, and served as an alternative to student buses by driving students around in golf carts decorated for parties with loud music.

Immediate hiring

You now have the opportunity to apply for the position of local guide and driver for our golf carts. We have made a new investment to expand our product and need to bring in new talent to our team immediately.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly wage according to the guidelines of the transport agreement for 2026 (entry-level wage according to the transport collective agreement).
• Commission for sightseeing tours you conduct or extend by voluntarily selling tickets at our stand in Gamla Stan or during a tour.
• Commission for tours conducted by other guides but sold by you.
• Commission for transport with the golf cart initiated by you, to and from hotels, ferries, museums, etc.
• Tips in various currencies, primarily US Dollars and Euros. All tips are kept by our employees, who are responsible for reporting the income in their tax declarations. (During high season, our guides average between 11,000 SEK – 15,000 SEK in tips).
• Staff room with coffee machine, microwave, stove, refrigerator, Air Fryer, and access to a locker room where you can leave your belongings during work hours.
• Flexible working hours, where you choose how many days you want to work and take time off when needed, with two weeks' notice.
• Paid breaks are common daily and part of our company policy, ensuring you always have the conditions to deliver an extraordinary experience for every customer.

No previous experience is required, but it is important that you have good energy and can work with people. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to earn money based on effort, not just hours worked. Our best guides earn between 40,000 SEK and 50,000 SEK during high season.
