The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic in Norrköping is part of the Psychiatric Centre in Region Östergötland. The clinic's operations are primarily conducted at a cohesive outpatient clinic, focusing on interventions for children and young people with moderate to severe mental symptoms as well as neuropsychiatric functional variations. The clinic currently consists of six treatment and assessment teams. The clinic also includes a "Barnahus" (Child Advocacy Center) and an infant unit. The clinic has approximately 90 employees, with psychologists being the largest professional group.

Job Description

As a psychologist at the clinic, you will work with the assessment, investigation, and treatment of psychiatric conditions requiring specialist psychiatric care. You will work with families, meet children, young people, and parents, and collaborate with, for example, schools and social services. You will be placed in a treatment and assessment team where you collaborate with several different professional categories.

Within the clinic, there are good opportunities for in-depth knowledge through mentorship, teamwork, and internal training. There are also good opportunities for personal further development and contributing to the development of the clinic's operations.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist. We would appreciate it if you have experience working with children, young people, and families in therapeutic activities. Experience from psychiatry, especially child and adolescent psychiatry, is meritorious. We prefer that you are oriented towards Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

We are looking for you who have the ability to work independently and simultaneously have very good collaboration skills. It is of utmost importance that you find it easy to collaborate with different professional groups and have a very good ability to meet children, young people, and parents in different life situations. You need to be able to plan, organize, and prioritize in your work. The job places great demands on personal maturity and flexibility. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
