About the Position

Brånavägen Group Home in Jämjö is a special housing facility under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) aimed at individuals who need support in their daily lives. Five residents live in their own apartments with access to common areas, where we work to create a safe, individually tailored, and meaningful existence.

The operations are characterized by a pedagogical approach where each resident's needs, wishes, and participation are at the center. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence and quality of life through a structured and supportive working method.

At Brånavägen, a team of approximately 12 employees with various competencies works together, enabling close collaboration and continuity in support. The staff works based on implementation plans and clear routines to ensure quality, safety, and equal support in daily life.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to combine close work with residents with a developmental and quality-oriented assignment? We are looking for an engaged support pedagogue who wants to contribute to strengthening both the individual's development and the organization's quality.

As a support pedagogue, you have in-depth knowledge and competence in the field. You may be assigned profession-specific tasks within quality assurance, which could involve, for example, supporting colleagues in social documentation, implementation plans, Socialstyrelsen's (National Board of Health and Welfare) recommended working methods, self-control, and supervision.

Your work involves motivating and supporting residents in their daily lives based on their individual needs. You are expected to create a meaningful, developmental, and high-quality operation for the individual. In your work, you provide need-adapted support so that residents feel safe and are strengthened in their opportunities for development. You can work both independently, in groups, and in collaboration with other professions. Your employment also includes the ability to work at other workplaces, either through collaborative shifts or joint planning.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who have:

• Post-secondary education, for example, a University College (YH) education (minimum 200 YH credits) in a relevant area such as support pedagogy or psychiatry, or alternatively a university education (minimum 60 hp) in a relevant area.
• Category B driver's license.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• Experience in working with and being responsible for documentation.
• Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Meritorious:

• Education in and/or experience with low-affective handling.
• Education in and/or experience with clarifying pedagogy.
• Experience working with autism.

Employment Terms
