You will take on a central role in projects involving both the new construction and modification of marine vessels. Here, you work at the interface between design and production, where your preparation work becomes a vital link between technical documentation and efficient execution in the workshop.

This role suits you if you want to combine classic preparation work with more operational responsibility. You will not only be creating work instructions but also adapting 3D models for production, supporting test assemblies, and contributing to improvements in working methods and workflows. You have many points of contact in your daily work and collaborate closely with production staff, technical preparers, production engineers, and designers.

• Create work orders based on available production documentation.
• Plan the preparation work for efficient production execution based on the capabilities and processes of the production facility.
• Develop and adapt 3D/CAD models so they function effectively in production.
• Hand over completed preparation work to production and support the startup phase when manufacturing begins.
• Contribute to test assemblies and help resolve issues that arise during the transition between design and production.
• Drive and implement improvement initiatives related to preparation and production flow.
• Collaborate continuously with production staff, technical preparers, production engineers, and designers.

• Experience in preparation work within manufacturing industry.
• Experience at the interface between design and production.
• Ability to read and work with 3D/CAD models.
• Experience with work orders and production planning.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship; dual citizenship is not accepted).
