Job Responsibilities

Do you want a meaningful job where you create security and care during the night hours? We are looking for you who want to work as an extra substitute or summer substitute at night within elderly care.

As a night substitute in the home care night patrol or our residential care homes, you will have an important role in providing care, support, and dignity. You will substitute for regular staff during their absence or work when there is an extra need for night staff in the operations.

As a night substitute, you play a key role in creating security and ensuring care during the night.

Your responsibilities include:

• Provide care and support to patients/residents during the night.
• Handle any alarms and emergency situations.
• Document according to the operation's guidelines.
• Perform delegated health and medical care measures from the nurse.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a genuine commitment to care and support. We want you to have previous experience of night work within care and support. You can work independently, are responsible, and feel confident working at night. As a person, you are calm, receptive, and empathetic in your interactions. You have a good ability to collaborate with others.

It is an advantage if you have completed or are currently studying the Care and Nursing program, the Nursing program, or other suitable care education.

In all areas, you need to master the Swedish language well in speech and writing and be open to delegated responsibility for medication. You should have good computer skills as we work with electronic documentation.

To work in our operations, you must be 18 years old. A B-driver's license is required for work within the home care night patrol. You need to be an experienced driver in the dark and in all types of road conditions.

Employment Type and Conditions

Employment Type: Summer job / Vacation work.
Duration: 3-6 months, Start Date: Start date by agreement. It can be immediately, during the spring, or starting in the summer. In our questionnaire, you answer when you wish to start working.

In the questionnaire linked to the application, you answer among other things if you want to work full-time or part-time, and within what type of operation you prefer to work. You also state when you wish to start and which weeks you have the opportunity to work in the summer.
