Since 1990, Melin & Carlsson has developed and manufactured hydraulic cylinders for mobile and stationary applications. We are specialists in customer-specific solutions and serve customers within the recycling and forestry industries, transport, material handling, and construction. Melin & Carlsson has been part of the ELMAB group since December 2025. The group generates approximately 500 MSEK in revenue and has around 200 employees with operations in Tranås and Dala-Järna. The group sees significant growth opportunities and aims to reach one billion in revenue. Since 2023, the group has been part of the Grönskär Group.

Your Responsibilities

As a Quality Technician at Melin & Carlsson, you will play a central role in developing and ensuring quality in our operations. You will work closely with production, customers, and suppliers, driving both daily quality work and long-term improvement initiatives – in short: you make a real difference!

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

Quality and Improvement Work – Drive efforts to reduce cost of poor quality, register, follow up, and address customer and supplier deviations, as well as handle complaint cases.

Root Cause Analysis and Improvement Work – Conduct analyses using tools such as 8D, identify areas for improvement, and develop processes and routines.

Measurement Technology and Quality Control – Verify outgoing samples, conduct quality follow-ups, and participate in receiving inspections and quality audits.

Training and Communication – Ensure that changes in working methods are communicated and implemented, and contribute to competence development within quality.

Your Profile

This is an exciting opportunity for you who have experience from the manufacturing industry and thrive in a role that combines technology, analysis, and problem-solving. You are confident in reading drawings and have an understanding of technical specifications and processes. You have good computer skills and the ability to work structured with documentation. To be successful in this role, basic knowledge or interest in quality tools and root cause analysis is required. We would appreciate it if you had experience or interest in measurement technology. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
