Do you want to be part of developing tomorrow's sustainable transport solutions? We are now looking for an Automation Technician who wants to take a key role in one of our client's exciting automation projects. This is a comprehensive initiative where the entire logistics system at the facility will be transformed into an automated and data-driven flow.
This is a unique opportunity to be involved from the start in a project that will be the first of its kind within our client's group and will serve as the basis for future implementations at other factories worldwide. Selection is ongoing, so please submit your application today!
About the Role
As an Automation Technician, you will become part of a global team working on developing and implementing next-generation logistics solutions. The role is broad and combines project management, change management, and technical understanding of automation and industrial systems.
The position is set up as a consultancy role with us at Professionals Nord, with an assignment at our client's site for an indefinite period. The goal is for you to be directly hired by our client, provided everything goes well. All questions regarding the position can be directed to Linn Östin at [email protected].
Responsibilities
- Drive and coordinate automation and change projects
- Collaborate with internal specialists, operators, and external suppliers
- Report to steering groups and present decision-making materials
- Responsible for system implementation, testing, and access management
- Ensure that processes and working methods are implemented sustainably
- Contribute to developing and standardizing working methods that can later be used by our client globally
This is not a traditional automation role where you program PLC systems or write code. Instead, the focus is on understanding the big picture, driving projects forward, and ensuring that different systems and functions work together.
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience from manufacturing industry, logistics, production technology, or automation
- Has worked in project form, for example as an automation technician, production engineer, logistics engineer, or industrial project manager
- Has a good understanding of industrial processes and the challenges present in a production environment
- Communicates fluently in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing
It is an advantage if you have experience with:
- Automation projects
- Industrial control systems
- Fleet Manager or similar logistics systems
- Material flows and internal transport solutions
We place great importance on your personal qualities. To succeed in this role, we believe you are:
- Driven and proactive
- Egoless and curious
- Confident in communicating with everyone from operators to the management team
- Accustomed to creating engagement and driving change
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Start: As agreed
Scope: Full-time
Location: Köping
Contact Person: Linn Östin, [email protected]
