We are now looking for a Forecast Planning Manager for our main planning function within Aeronautics.

Your role

As a Forecast Planning Manager, you play a key role in developing and managing our planning processes and the systems that control the material flow to the operations. Through analysis, improvement work, and close collaboration with various parts of the organization, you contribute to ensuring that the right materials are available when needed and that planning functions as efficiently as possible.

A large part of the work takes place in our material planning system, where you track requirements and analyze data to develop both working methods and system support. The role also involves many contact points, where you collaborate with colleagues, operations, IT, and system suppliers to solve problems and drive improvements.

You will primarily work with:

• Analyzing future material requirements and contributing to efficient material planning
• Developing and improving planning processes and system support
• Collaborating with operations, IT, and system suppliers
• Contributing to an efficient material flow through analysis and problem-solving

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education in areas such as logistics, industrial economics, engineering, or other relevant fields. You have experience in planning, material control, supply chain, or a similar area, or alternatively, a strong interest in developing within the field.

To thrive in this role, we believe you are someone who enjoys working with systems and finds it easy to adapt to new working methods and tools. You are analytical, structured, and motivated by solving problems and finding opportunities for improvement. At the same time, you are an engaged team player who appreciates collaboration and contributes to a positive work environment.

You have good skills in Excel and express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• ERP/MRP systems, such as IFS or SAP
• Material planning or inventory control
• PTC Servigistics
• Supply Chain or Demand Planning
• SQL

The position is based in Arboga or Linköping. A B-driver's license is an advantage as travel between our operations may occur.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
