Here, you will work with elderly people or individuals with disabilities, either in their homes or in residential facilities. This job offers you valuable experiences in meeting various people.

Job Responsibilities

Care work is a varied, fun, and rewarding job where you provide support and assistance to people in their daily lives. You are there to provide support and care, create security, and contribute to meaningful days.

Our operations vary depending on the needs of those requiring our help. Within home care services, we help people manage their daily lives in their own homes. For elderly individuals who need more comprehensive support and care, we have elderly care residences.

In these operations, your workday is filled with tasks where you assist with personal hygiene, dressing, medication management, cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, rehabilitation training, contact with relatives, etc. This also involves creating joy of life, motivation, and inspiration for our care recipients through activities such as walks, social time, and other events.

For individuals with physical or mental disabilities, there are various workplaces available in the form of group homes or residential facilities, day activities, and supported living. The target group also varies in age, as we work with both adults and children/young people with disabilities.

As an employee in such an operation, you support and motivate individuals with mental or intellectual disabilities in their daily lives, e.g., in matters regarding caring for their home, personal hygiene, cooking, shopping, laundry, and similar tasks. You plan, carry out, or support various social activities, individually or in groups.

Qualifications

We do not require prior knowledge or work experience, but to thrive and do a good job, you need to have a genuine interest in people.

As a person, you are calm, responsive, and confident in yourself, and you enjoy working with people. You have a good ability to work both independently and with others.

We will look at your social competence and your willingness to learn a valuable profession. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

It is meritorious if you have completed or are currently studying the Care and Nursing Program, the Nursing Program, or another suitable care education. It is also meritorious if you have work experience in care work. If you have also worked for us before and have good references, that is also meritorious.

In all areas, you need to master the Swedish language well in speech and writing, as well as be open to delegation responsibilities for medication. You should have good computer skills as we work with electronic documentation.

To work in our operations, you must be 18 years old. A Category B driver's license is required for work within home care services and support for disabilities. Please state in your application if you have a driver's license.

Employment Type and Terms

Employment Type: Summer Job / Vacation Employment.
Duration: 11 days - 3 months, Start Date: Start date by agreement. This can be immediately, during the spring, or as soon as possible for the summer. In our questionnaire, you answer when you specifically wish to start working.

In the questionnaire linked to the application, you answer among other things if you want to work full-time or part-time, day or night shifts, and within which type of operation you prefer to work. You also state when you wish to start and which weeks you have the opportunity to work this summer.
